How it works

When setting up your timber shed, summerhouse, or playhouse, we won’t leave you to figure out a complex installation on your own. Our skilled team ensures that your shed is installed free of charge, provided you have a solid and level base.

1. Choose your shed and add installation
   Pick your shed size and style, then select the installation service at checkout..
   

2. Check your base
   Your shed needs a firm, level base; concrete, paving slabs, or a timber frame built to size. We’ll send a quick guide with the recommended dimensions and tolerances. No base yet? Ask us about lead times so you can book a base build before delivery.
   

3. Share a photo and confirm access
   Clear any obstacles out of the way for easy access, and let us know your gate width, of there are any steps or tight corners beforehand. Please allow around 45–60 cm working room around the spot where the shed is being installed where possible.
   

4. Book your delivery and install day
   We’ll agree on a date and give you an arrival window. You’ll get a reminder the day before with any final checks. If an old shed needs to be removed before the new shed is installed, let us know and we’ll take care of it.
   

5. On the day; arrival and site walk-through
   Our installers will arrive, walk the route with you, and lay down protection where needed. If we spot a base or access issue, we’ll explain options on the spot before we begin any work.
   

6. Positioning and assembly
   We carry the panels to the base, position the shed, and begin garden shed assembly. Panels are squared, fixed, and braced; doors and windows are hung and adjusted; roof boards and felt (or your chosen roof finish) are installed to manufacturer standards.
   

7. Fixings, sealant and weathering
   Before we go, we make sure all fixings are tightened, trims are fitted, and joints are sealed where required. We’ll also check door locks, hinges, and window catches to make sure everything opens and closes as it should.

Side note: Before we remove any old sheds and add in your new shed, make sure that all items and electrics or plumbing are removed and disconnected from the old structure. We will not be responsible for disposing of any old items other than the shed itself.

If you’re unsure whether your base is solid, we have processes in place to verify this. To make things easier, our Combi Base solution provides a sturdy, eco-friendly foundation composed of plastic tiles and treated timber frames, ensuring your shed remains upright and stable for years to come.

It's ideal for areas prone to water accumulation, as it allows for excellent drainage. Do you already have a base, but it’s not quite level? We can fix this with a subframe. Our subframe will provide your shed with a level surface and offer unparalleled underfloor protection. 

We can take an extra step to protect your shed from dampness and rot by installing bearers that elevate it off the ground. 

Additionally, if you have an old shed that needs to be removed, we can dismantle and dispose of it for you. Our hassle-free service will save you the trouble of taking your shed to the local tip, just make sure it's empty and disconnected from any utilities, and we'll take care of the rest.

Delivery & Installation Terms & Conditions

It is the customers responsibility to ensure there is adequate access for the product ordered to be delivered. Please call us for any information about product dimensions.

Please note: Our sheds are delivered in full panels not individual planks therefore if the access to the installation area is through a house or there is limited access or obstruction please contact us before ordering so we can adjust manufacturing to suit. A manufacturing charge of £50 will apply if panels are required to be custom made in smaller sections.

There is a charge of £100 for any revisit that is due to inadequate access that has not been conveyed to our office before delivery. 

Your base must be solid and level in order for us to install your shed to the proper standard. 

Our installers will check the level of your base on the day of delivery.

If your base is not solid or level there is the following 3 options

1. We can install a subframe / combi base to properly prepare the area. There is a charge for this service, please see any product page for costings.
2. We can leave the product stacked at the premises and revisit to install once the base has been corrected. There is a charge of £100 for any revisit that is due to an inadequate base.
3. We can install the product on the area provided if possible (subject to installers judgement). However this will void the warranty for the areas effected.
